🎃 Pick out a pumpkin to take home while you’re here, and don’t forget to visit our Baker’s Market for homemade goodies. Proceeds from pumpkin and bake sale purchases will help support a local nonprofit and The Rock’s missions efforts in the Dominican Republic.

🌍 African Worship Night

One church. Many cultures. One Jesus.

Join us for a special evening of worship led by members of The Rock’s African congregation! This night is for everyone as we come together to experience the joy, energy, music, teaching, and community of an African worship service.

The Church has always been bigger than one culture, one language, or one style of worship. Scripture gives us a beautiful picture of people from every nation, tribe, people, and language worshiping together before Jesus. When we worship alongside believers from cultures different from our own, we get a glimpse of just how big, beautiful, and diverse the family of God really is.

UNITE is a citywide youth gathering bringing students from churches and communities across North Platte together for an incredible night of games, food, worship, and a powerful message from one of our local youth leaders.

This is bigger than one youth group or one church. UNITE is an opportunity for students to see that they’re part of something bigger—to worship alongside other students, build new friendships, have a ton of fun, and be encouraged in their faith.

Whether you’re deeply involved in church, just starting to explore faith, or a friend invited you to come along, there’s a place for you at UNITE.

Rock 101 — Your First Step at The Rock

We’ve revamped our discipleship pathway—and we’re excited about what’s ahead!

If you’re newer to The Rock, have been attending for a while and are ready to get more connected, or simply want to discover who we are, Rock 101 is your first step.

Rock 101 is a three-part experience designed to help you learn our story, discover what matters to us, meet others, and find your place at The Rock.

PART 1 • ONLINE — September 23
Start from the comfort of home! You’ll receive a YouTube link to watch the first portion of Rock 101 on your own schedule.

PART 2 • SUNDAY — September 27 at 10:00 AM
Join us during our Sunday service for the in-person portion of the experience.

PART 3 • DINNER — September 30 at 6:00 PM
We’ll wrap up Rock 101 at Pastor Vaughn’s home with dinner, conversation, and stories. Bring the whole family! Location details will be provided to those who register.

Whether you’ve been here three weeks or three years, if you’re ready to take your next step at The Rock, Rock 101 is where it begins.

River Baptism at Cody Park

Take your next step in following Jesus through water baptism!

Join us immediately following our Sunday morning service for an outdoor River Baptism experience at Cody Park. This opportunity is open to all children (K–12th grade), students, and adults who have made the decision to follow Jesus and are ready to publicly declare their faith through baptism.

GUYS’ NIGHT — JUNE 6 @ THE ROCK CHURCH

This isn’t your average night… this is for the guys. 💪

Men (16+), it’s time to show up, lean in, and bring your crew for a night built just for you. We’re kicking things off at 5:30PM with a full-on tailgate party—smoked turkey legs, games, competition, and bragging rights on the line. Then at 6:30PM, we shift gears into a powerful worship experience that will challenge and strengthen your faith.

We’re also bringing in special guest Dr. Lee Warren—an Iraq War veteran, practicing neurosurgeon, and award-winning author who’s passionate about helping men rewire their thinking and live with purpose by connecting faith and real-life resilience.

🌳 Church in the Park – May 25 at 10:30 AM | Centennial Park
It’s time for church under the open sky! We’re teaming up with Cowboy Church and Valley Christian for one big outdoor service at the gazebo in Centennial Park. We’ll bring the fried chicken and pulled pork—you bring your favorite drinks, any of your favorite sides to share between you and your family, and a lawn chair! Don’t miss this fun day of worship, food, and community!

Serving Dinner at the Salvation Army
Join us in being the hands and feet of Jesus as we serve dinner at the Salvation Army! Volunteers should arrive by 4:30 PM to help with food preparation. Once the doors open, we'll serve dinner to those in need and then assist with cleanup afterward. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference and share God's love in a tangible way. Families are welcome to serve together—this is a great way to model service for all ages. Let's come together and bless our community!
